Twice in my life I've accidentally bought the Popular Classics edition of Little Women, which does not also include Good Wives, so have ended up buying this edition too! The more formal editions have both novels in (as Little Women parts 1 and 2). Doesn't affect the fact that it's a lovely old story, nicely presented in a good book.

A timeless classic. I read this book a long time ago and decided to read it again. Enjoyed it even more as a more mature women. :-) It's a sad story that makes you feel sorry for many of the characters but it's a good escape back to a time and place so different from where we are now.

Mainly the manga covers the couples normal every day interactions. There is a 20 year age gap between them (the girl is a teenager) which bothered me a little.
